เมื่อวันพุธที่ 4 มีนาคม 2568 ฝ่ายวิสาหกิจและสังคมยั่งยืน มข. ร่วมกับ คณะเทคโนโลยี มข. โดยศูนย์บริหารเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม นำโดย ศ.ดร.ธิดารัตน์ บุญมาศ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิสาหกิจและสังคมยั่งยืน พร้อมด้วย ผศ.ดร.อารยา เชาว์เรืองฤทธิ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยี พร้อมคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ ผู้นำชุมชนจากพื้นที่รอบแก่งละว้ากว่า 60 คน ได้ร่วมประชุมหารือแนวทางเกี่ยวกับการขับเคลื่อนโครงการ “ละว้าโมเดล พลัส” (Lawa Model Plus) ณ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านไผ่ อำเภอบ้านไผ่ จังหวัดขอนแก่น การหารือในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านการพัฒนาระดับพื้นที่ และกำหนดแนวทางการยกระดับเศรษกิจของพื้นที่แก่งละว้า ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งน้ำและระบบนิเวศที่สำคัญของชุมชนให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด โดยเน้นแนวทางการพัฒนาที่สมดุลและยั่งยืน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์ การบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมถึงการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนในพื้นที่ให้ดีขึ้น
On Wednesday, March 4th, 2025, the Enterprise and Sustainable Society Division of Khon Kaen University (KKU), in collaboration with the Faculty of Technology, KKU, and led by the Center for Technology and Innovation Management, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Thidarat Boonmars, Vice President for Enterprise and Sustainable Society, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, faculty members, staff, and over 60 community leaders from the area surrounding Kaeng Lawa, held a meeting to discuss strategies for driving the “Lawa Model Plus” project at Ban Phai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province. The meeting aimed to exchange knowledge on local development and to determine guidelines for enhancing the economy of the Kaeng Lawa area, a significant water source and ecosystem for the community, to achieve maximum benefits. The focus is on balanced and sustainable development, including promoting eco-tourism, efficient management of natural resources, and improving the quality of life for local residents.

โครงการ “ละว้าโมเดล พลัส” เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และชุมชนในพื้นที่รอบแก่งละว้า ครอบคลุม 4 ตำบล ได้แก่ ตำบลโคกสำราญ อำเภอบ้านแฮด, ตำบลหัวหนอง อำเภอบ้านไผ่, ตำบลเมืองเพีย อำเภอบ้านไผ่ และตำบลบ้านไผ่ อำเภอบ้านไผ่ โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสร้างสมดุลระหว่างการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและการพัฒนาชุมชนให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด ผ่านแนวทางการบริหารจัดการที่มีประสิทธิภาพ
The “Lawa Model Plus” project is a collaboration between Khon Kaen University, government agencies, and local communities in the area surrounding Kaeng Lawa, covering four sub-districts: Khok Samran Sub-district in Ban Haet District, Hua Nong Sub-district in Ban Phai District, Mueang Phia Sub-district in Ban Phai District, and Ban Phai Sub-district in Ban Phai District. The aim is to create a balance between natural resource utilization and community development for maximum benefit through effective management approaches.

The Office of Enterprises and Sustainable Society, KKU, in collaboration with the Faculty of Technology, KKU, is committed to integrating knowledge and supporting community development aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is achieved by working together with all sectors—governmental agencies, the academic community, and local people—to meet community needs and foster long-term sustainable development. This initiative is in line with the Faculty of Technology’s mission to conduct high-quality, integrated research, extend innovations to society, promote research for sustainable social development, and connect with the SDGs/BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy). It also aims to provide academic services and innovations to society, driving grassroots economic and social development through the BCG economy model.
