เมื่อวันศุุกร์ที่ 24 มกราคม 2568 โดย ผศ.ดร.อารยา เชาว์เรืองฤทธิ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้เข้าร่วมงานตามคำเชิญจากวิทยาลัยการปกครองท้องถิ่น มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อต้อนรับ ท่านสิลิลาดธงสิน ทองเพ็ง รองเจ้าครองนครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว พร้อมคณะผู้แทน เนื่องในโอกาสเยือนจังหวัดขอนแก่น และ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อความกระชับความสัมพันธ์ และ ติดตามผลการดำเนินงานตามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่าง จังหวัดขอนแก่น กับ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ ซึ่งงานในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้น ณ ห้องประชุมอุดร ตันติสุนทร วิทยาลัยการปกครองท้องถิ่น มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยมีการหารือในประเด็นสำคัญด้านความร่วมมือหลากหลายมิติ เช่น การพัฒนาด้านการศึกษา การแพทย์และสาธารณสุข การเกษตร การบริหารจัดการทรัพยากร และการพัฒนาด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ซึ่งถือเป็นส่วนสำคัญที่ส่งเสริมให้ความร่วมมือระหว่างทั้งสองฝ่ายมีผลลัพธ์ที่เป็นรูปธรรม
ในโอกาสนี้ รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้กล่าวต้อนรับผู้แทนจากนครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ โดยเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของความร่วมมือในด้านต่าง ๆ อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อทั้งสองประเทศ
โดย ผศ.ดร.อารยา เชาว์เรืองฤทธิ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทของคณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ที่พร้อมสนับสนุนการพัฒนาด้านการศึกษาและการวิจัยที่สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของความร่วมมือดังกล่าว โดยเน้นมุ่งมั่นที่จะผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพ ศึกษาวิจัย และให้บริการทางวิชาการ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งทางด้านการนำทรัพยากรธรรมชาติทางชีวภาพ และทางกายภาพมาใช้อย่างเหมาะสมและให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด เพื่อการพัฒนาสังคมและประเทศชาติ โดยเป็นองค์กรชั้นนำในการผลิตนักเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมจากผลงานวิจัยสู่สังคม ผลิตผลงานวิจัยแบบบูรณาการ คุณภาพสูง ต่อยอดนวัตกรรมสู่สังคม ผลิตนักเทคโนโลยี และส่งเสริมสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรและอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร บริการวิชาการและนวัตกรรมสู่สังคม มุ่งสู่ความเป็นเลิศในการจัดการองค์กร เพื่อยกระดับการจัดการทรัพยากรและอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรพื้นถิ่นด้วยสหวิทยาการ การสร้างองค์ความรู้ นวัตกรรม และพัฒนากำลังคนเพื่อให้สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของทั้งสองประเทศ
สำหรับการร่วมหารือในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทย และ สปป.ลาว ยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของทั้งสองฝ่าย ในการร่วมกันพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ และส่งเสริมความก้าวหน้าในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ซึ่งนับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวที่สำคัญ ในการแสดงถึงมิตรภาพและความร่วมมืออันยั่งยืนระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยจะช่วยผลักดันความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ให้แน่นแฟ้นมากยิ่งขึ้น
On Friday, January 24, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology at Khon Kaen University, participated in an event at the invitation of the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, to welcome Mr. Sililadthong Sin Thongpheng, Deputy Governor of Vientiane Capital, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and his delegation on the occasion of their visit to Khon Kaen Province and Khon Kaen University. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen relations and follow up on the progress of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Khon Kaen Province and Vientiane Capital. The event was held at the Udorn Tantisunthorn Meeting Room, College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University. The discussions focused on key issues in various areas of cooperation, such as education, medicine and public health, agriculture, resource management, and economic and social development. These areas are crucial in promoting tangible, effective collaboration between the two parties.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, delivered a welcome address to the Vientiane Capital delegation, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in various fields that will lead to beneficial development for both countries.
Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, highlighted the faculty’s role and readiness to support both education and research development in alignment with the objectives of this collaboration. She emphasized the commitment to producing high-quality graduates, advancing research, and offering academic services—especially in the sustainable and optimal utilization of biological and physical natural resources—to contribute to social and national development. The faculty aims to be a leading organization in producing technologists and innovators, translating high-quality, integrated research into societal benefits, and fostering a lifelong learning society. Their focus is on resource management, agro-industry, academic services, and innovation, striving for organizational excellence. This approach aims to elevate local resource management and agro-industry through interdisciplinary knowledge creation, innovation, and workforce development to meet the needs of both countries.
This meeting not only served to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Laos but also reflected both parties’ commitment to the joint development of human resources and the advancement of progress in the Southeast Asian region. This event marks another significant step in demonstrating the enduring friendship and sustainable cooperation between the two countries and will further enhance the strong relationship between Khon Kaen University and Vientiane Capital.
