คณะเทคโนโลยี มข. จับมือ Focus Arena ขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมวิจัยเชิงพาณิชย์รับขอนแก่นสาร์ทซิตี้
เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 11 เมษายน 2568 เวลา 14.00 น. คณะผู้บริหารและทีมนักวิจัยจากคณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย ผศ.ดร.อารยา เชาว์เรืองฤทธิ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยี ผศ.ดร.อัมพร แซ่เอียว รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริการวิชาการและนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคม รศ.ดร.จิรวรรณ อภิรักษากร อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ และ รศ.ดร.เพ็ญศรี เจริญวานิช ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (CEO) ศูนย์เคเคยู เอนเตอร์ไพรส์ ได้เข้าร่วมประชุมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและนวัตกรรมกับคุณอภิชา กิตติสุวรรณ์ ผู้บริหารบริษัท โฟกัสแอดเวอร์ไทซิ่ง จำกัด ผู้ดำเนินการ Focus Arena สถานที่จัดแข่งขัน Esports ชั้นนำของประเทศไทย และเป็นแห่งแรกในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภายใต้นโยบายขอนแก่นสาร์ทซิตี้
โดยการหารือในครั้งนี้ ทีมวิจัยจากคณะเทคโนโลยี ได้นำเสนอผลงานและนวัตกรรมวิจัยที่มุ่งเน้นการประยุกต์ใช้จริงรองรับโมเดล BCG Economy ซึ่งเน้นการใช้เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมเพื่อสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มเชิงพาณิชย์ สร้างรายได้แบบบูรณาการกับชุมชน พัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากร รวมถึงบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
ผศ.ดร.อารยา เชาว์เรืองฤทธิ์ กล่าวว่า “ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้เป็นการต่อยอดงานวิจัยด้านเทคโนโลยีและไลฟ์สไตล์สู่เชิงพาณิชย์ สอดรับกับแนวคิดการพัฒนาเมืองขอนแก่นสู่การเป็น Smart City และมั่นใจว่านวัตกรรมจากการวิจัยของคณะสามารถพัฒนาต่อเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพในการแข่งขันในตลาดได้อย่างแน่นอน”
การประชุมครั้งนี้นับเป็นการสร้างความร่วมมือที่สำคัญระหว่างภาคการศึกษาและภาคเอกชน ซึ่งจะผลักดันให้เกิดการนำองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมไปใช้จริง เพื่อสร้างประโยชน์สูงสุดให้กับชุมชนและส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจฐานความรู้ของภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
KKU Faculty of Technology Partners with Focus Arena to Drive Commercial Research Innovation for Khon Kaen Smart City
On Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., the administrative team and researchers from the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit (Dean of the Faculty of Technology), Asst. Prof. Dr. Amporn Sae-iaw (Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Innovation), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jirawan Apiraksakorn (Lecturer in Biotechnology), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich (Expert and CEO of KKU Enterprise Center), held a meeting to discuss academic and innovation partnership with Mr. Apicha Kittisuwan, Executive of Focus Advertising Co., Ltd., the operator of Focus Arena—Thailand’s leading Esports competition venue and the first of its kind in the Northeast. This collaboration is being established under the Khon Kaen Smart City policy.
During this meeting, the research team from the Faculty of Technology presented their work and innovations aimed at practical applications to support the BCG Economy model, which emphasizes the use of technology and innovation to create added commercial value, generate integrated income for communities, enhance personnel capacity, and efficiently manage resources.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit stated, “This collaboration extends research in technology and lifestyle into commercialization, aligning with the vision of developing Khon Kaen into a Smart City. We are confident that our faculty’s research innovations can be further developed into new products and services with strong market competitiveness.”
This meeting marks a significant collaborative step between the education sector and private enterprises, which will help bring knowledge and innovative solutions into practical use. It aims to deliver tangible benefits to the community and sustainably promote a knowledge-based economy within the region.
