On Monday, June 23, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Seminar Room 2, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University organized the “Let’s Think, Let’s Talk: Academic Edition #4” activity under the topic “Stakeholder Voices Matter: Utilizing Satisfaction Surveys to Develop Curriculum According to the AUN-QA Framework.” This event served as a platform for knowledge exchange to drive quality curriculum development.

The activity was honored by distinguished speakers:

  • Assistant Professor Nussara Sakhot, Associate Dean for Education, Student Development, and Alumni Relations
  • Associate Professor Dr. Jantima Phungamngern, Assistant Dean for Strategy and Quality Assurance

Assistant Professor Nussara Sakhot, Associate Dean for Education, Student Development, and Alumni Relations,

provided an overview of the satisfaction survey used to gather feedback from various stakeholders, including students, instructors, program directors, and employers of graduates. The content of the survey is linked to the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) of the curriculum, and is also aligned with educational quality assurance guidelines according to the AUN-QA and EdPEx criteria.

Associate Professor Dr. Jantima Phungamngern, Assistant Dean for Strategy and Quality Assurance, highlighted how the data from the satisfaction surveys are utilized to genuinely enhance and improve academic programs. She also presented a summary report of the satisfaction survey responses from stakeholders, including students, instructors, program directors, and employers of graduates, as well as a dashboard for reporting evaluation results. The Information and Quality Development Unit has been responsible for creating and developing these tools to support the process of preparing the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) according to the AUN criteria.

A knowledge-sharing forum was also organized on the topic “Utilizing Evaluation Results for Curriculum Improvement,” where program directors shared their experiences and best practices. This activity served as another key mechanism in fostering the quality culture of the Faculty by providing opportunities for stakeholders to participate effectively in the development of teaching, learning, and the educational quality assurance system.

During the knowledge-sharing forum, faculty members from all departments provided suggestions and reflected on ideas regarding the collection of evaluation data. Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Tangwongchai, Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Food Technology, recommended presenting summarized evaluation responses from students and instructors in infographic format and displaying them on the LCD screens in front of the Faculty elevators. This approach aims to raise awareness and motivate both staff and students to participate more actively in the evaluation process, serving as a continuous strategy for promoting a quality culture within the Faculty.
