The Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University (KKU), in collaboration with Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), organized the international seminar “International Mini-Symposium High Value Creation of Foods and Agricultural Produces” under the Reinventing University 2026, on January 15th, 2026, from 08:30 AM. to 04:30 PM. This event served as a crucial platform for exchanging knowledge and research regarding the high-value creation of food products and agricultural produce at an international level.

The opening ceremony was honored by senior executives and representatives from both institutions, including: Professor Dr. Pewpan Maleewong, Vice President for Research and Innovation; Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University; and Professor Dr. Saroat Rawdkuen, Project Leader, School of Agro-Industry, Mae Fah Luang University, under the Reinventing University 2026.

This conference was enriched by the participation of four distinguished international researchers and experts who presented their work and exchanged insights:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jia Qiang Huang from China Agricultural University, China

Furthermore, the Faculty of Technology provided a significant opportunity for interested students to develop their research potential and present in this symposium. A total of 7 students presented their research: Krittika Chunwijitra, Lyket Chuon, Nguyen Hai Linh, Muhamad Khairi Mafudz, Farida Chengsa-ard, Adiba Tsalsabilla, and Minkawat Thanopajai.

Over 60 participants attended and shared knowledge focused on the high-value creation of food products and agricultural produces, filled with cutting-edge research and invaluable insights from  experts across the globe. This collaboration and participation align perfectly with the objectives of the Reinventing University 2026 project to effectively elevate research standards to global level.
