offers B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. levels which studies on the natural state of geological resources which consists of soil, rocks, minerals, natural gas, oil and groundwater, surveying and analyzing characteristics of geological resources, geoscientific surveying and conservation and efficient use of geological resources. In addition to managing education for students, the Geotechnology Department has the mission to offer academic services for society in various fields like surveying for water for agricultural use, foundation surveying using geophysics, research in cooperation with many government and private sectors such as the Electricity Authority of Thailand etc. Students of the Geotechnology Department have the opportunity to take field trips and to engage in cooperative education and apply their knowledge in the real world related to their field of study.

Bachelor Degree:   Geotechnology focuses on providing fundamental knowledge and understanding in geology and its engineering applications. It comprehensively covers all aspects related to geological resources (i.e. soil rocks, minerals, natural gas, petroleum, and groundwater) which include characterization, exploration, evaluation, development, engineering, management, and environmental protection and remediation.

Master Degree:    Geotechnology emphasizes on providing rigorous understanding and hands-on training on a particular subject area in order to develop graduates with practical and analytical skills as well as effective application of knowledge within the field. Subject areas cover, but are not limited to, petrology, geophysics, geochemistry, mineral exploration, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, and geo-environmental science and engineering.

Doctoral Degree:  Geotechnology focuses on producing competent researchers in Geotechnology who would be able to conduct research independently and contribute to the advancement of the science and engineering of this field.
