
On February 3, 2026, the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Vimoltip Singtuen, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Digital and Student Affairs, along with Miss Kanok-on Neera, International Relations Officer; Miss Nareeya Kanisan, President of the Faculty of Technology Student Club; Miss Kanyanut Tiamklang, Member of the Faculty of Technology Student Club; and Mister. Jiraphan Prokhunthot, President of the Geotechnology Student Association, welcomed guests from the Teacher Leaders Programme 2 (TLP2), Ministry of Education, Singapore. The purpose of the visit was to exchange knowledge on approaches to developing 21st Century Competencies (21CC) through the EGGS Identity framework at the higher education level.
Associate Professor Dr. Vimoltip Singtuen, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Digital and Student Affairs, welcomed the guests and presented the EGGS Identity, a new approach to 21st Century Competencies that serves as the cornerstone for student development at Khon Kaen University in 2026. The framework consists of:
- E – Entrepreneurial
- G – Global-minded
- G – Growth-oriented
- S – Sustainable-focused
Three students from the Faculty of Technology—Miss Nareeya Kanisan, Miss Kanyanut Tiamklang, and Mister. Jiraphan Prokhunthot—jointly presented activities that align with the EGGS Identity framework.
The presentation and exchange of ideas and practices regarding 21st Century Competencies by the students on this occasion reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, to producing graduates ready to become global citizens with academic excellence.

Associate Professor Dr. Vimoltip Singtuen stated, “Khon Kaen University’s EGGS Identity framework enables us to integrate 21st Century Competencies into every aspect of student life, from cultural activities to technical training. We focus on enabling students to learn through processes that go beyond academic knowledge. Students should learn various things through skill development processes, recognizing values, and having a mindset to thrive in a rapidly changing global environment through real-world situations.”
This visit represents another opportunity for the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, and Singaporean educational institutions, where both parties will jointly explore programs or activities that can benefit students from both countries in the future.
