On Friday, June 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, organized the orientation activity for new students for the academic year 2025. The event was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, and Assistant Professor Nusara Surakhot, Associate Dean for Education, Student Development, and Alumni Relations, together with the executive team, faculty members, staff, and the Faculty of Technology Student Club, Khon Kaen University.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, warmly welcomed the new students and expressed congratulations to them for becoming part of the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University—Kalaphruek Batch 62 and TE Class 44—for the academic year 2025.
After that, Assistant Professor Nusara Surakhot, Associate Dean for Education, Student Development, and Alumni Relations, introduced the executive team, program lecturers, academic advisors, and academic support staff. The students were provided with essential information regarding their studies, channels for contacting the academic services office, course registration procedures, how to access various university services, and participation in beneficial activities. This information will help students better understand and correctly follow the necessary steps throughout their academic life.
Next, the Faculty of Technology Student Club provided details about the freshmen activities and various events throughout the academic year 2025. Afterwards, new students were guided to meet their academic advisors in each field of study and participated in the registration activities. In the afternoon, the Student Club led the freshmen in orientation activities at the Fuangfa Room, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University.
The new student orientation is an important and highly beneficial event that helps new students begin their university life smoothly and happily. Not only does this activity leave a memorable and warm impression on the new students, but it also enhances their knowledge and understanding of university life, which will serve as a crucial foundation for their future studies and personal development.
