On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM, representatives from Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd. visited the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, to discuss potential collaboration with the faculty’s executives, lecturers, and researchers. Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, together with Professor Dr. Alisara Ruangsang, Associate Dean for Research and International Relations, and other faculty members and researchers attended the meeting.

The discussions focused on research opportunities regarding the utilization of spent grain as a food of the future, as well as other potential collaborations and establishing sustainable partnerships. These initiatives aim to drive research and innovation in food and beverage development for commercial application and sustainable development (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs), particularly through repurposing waste generated from production processes, turning otherwise unused materials into valuable resources. This vision aligns with the Faculty of Technology’s goal to be a leading organization in producing technologists and innovations from research for the benefit of society.
