
On June 12, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., staff members from the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University — led by Asst. Prof. Peerapong Wongthahan, a lecturer in the Food Technology Department; Asst. Prof. Narubeth Lorwanishpaisarn, a lecturer in the Biotechnology Department; and Miss Kanok-on Neera, International Relations Officer — together with Assoc. Prof. Ampol Wongsa, a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, were invited to serve as facilitators for an ice-breaking activity aimed at fostering connections among students and enhancing collaborative learning.

The activity was part of the Postgraduate Students Orientation: Master’s and Doctoral Students, Academic Year 2026, organized by the Academic Affairs Division of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, held at the Mor Din Daeng Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine Building. The orientation welcomed incoming graduate students, provided guidance on coursework and academic programs, and offered an opportunity for students to meet representatives from the Student Union.

The team’s role as facilitators highlights the capacity of Faculty of Technology staff in designing and delivering creative, engaging activities. The ice-breaking session was conducted primarily in English, with a focus on building connections between Thai and international students, reflecting the Faculty’s SMART core value of S-Social Devotion with Creation, a commitment to serving society through creativity, while also fostering English communication skills in an international academic setting.
