On May 2nd, 2025, the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaowareungrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, along with faculty and staff members, participated in a practical training workshop on the topic of “Generative AI for Transforming Real Work Practices.” The training was held at the Phuengfa Room, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University.

The workshop featured Associate Professor Dr. Wararat Songpan, from the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University, as the esteemed speaker. Dr. Wararat shared knowledge and skills in applying various Generative AI programs and artificial intelligence applications, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and others, to real-world work scenarios.
This training initiative aligns with Khon Kaen University’s Strategic Issue 1: Transforming Education Management and Strategic Issue 8: Transforming the Organization Towards the Digital Era. Its objective was to enhance personnel’s knowledge and understanding of Generative AI technology and enable them to utilize these tools to improve work efficiency, streamline processes, and produce higher-quality outcomes.

Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaowareungrit stated, “Generative AI technology plays a crucial role in transforming current work methodologies. This training provides an excellent opportunity for our personnel to learn and understand these tools, enabling them to adapt and modernize the faculty’s operations in line with the digital age.”
This Generative AI training marks another significant step for the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, in developing its personnel’s capabilities and preparing them to fully embrace the changes of the digital era. It is anticipated that the participants will be able to leverage the acquired knowledge and skills to further develop and effectively apply them in their actual work practices.
