The Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Kantaya Petsong and students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy for their outstanding achievement in advancing research toward commercialization through participation in the NextGen SynergyX (Cohort 1) program.
This initiative highlights an exemplary model of interdisciplinary collaboration, with students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy leading the commercialization efforts. The project was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kantaya Petsong, a lecturer in Food Technology at the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University.
The teams participated in the NextGen SynergyX Cohort 1 Success Press Conference, showcasing the development of innovative applications based on core research into plant-based protein combined with synbiotic powder—technology originally developed by the Faculty of Technology.
Two student teams emerged with notable success:

Team “Kai Kraeng” presented their project titled “Synbiotic Plant-Based Powder Supplement for Broiler Chickens.” The team secured two commercialization grants totaling 300,000 Baht under the TED Youth Startups and Business Brotherhood programs.

Team “SYN SMILE” introduced “SYN SMILE – Synbiotic Refreshing,” earning a substantial 1,500,000 Baht grant through the TED Youth Startup program.
These achievements reflect the Faculty of Technology’s strategic mission to drive innovation from laboratory research to practical, real-world solutions that benefit society. They underscore a commitment to sustainable development in the fields of agriculture and public health, in alignment with the Faculty’s vision to be a leading institution in producing high-impact technologists and innovations for societal advancement.
