รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิมลทิพย์ สิงห์เถื่อน สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีธรณี คณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้รับ “รางวัลดีเด่น (Outstanding)” ประเภท Poster Presentation จากการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในการประชุมบุคลากรไทยที่มีความสามารถระดับสูง ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2569 (ครั้งที่ 3) หรือ Thailand Talent Summit 2026: Fostering Thailand Future; Advancing Innovation and National Impact ที่จัดขึ้น
Associate Professor Dr. Vimoltip Singtuen from the Department of Geotechnology, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, received the ‘Outstanding Award’ in the Poster Presentation category for her research presentation at the 3rd Thailand Talent Summit 2026: Fostering Thailand’s Future; Advancing Innovation and National Impact.

The event took place from September 23–25, 2026, at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), Chonburi, and was organized by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) and the Science, Research and Innovation (SRI) Fund.
ผลงานที่ได้รับรางวัล ได้แก่ “Geological Investigation of Mekong River Rapids in the Chiang Khan Area, Loei Province, Thailand” ในกลุ่มงานวิจัยด้าน PSM: Physical Sciences and Mathematics งานวิจัยดังกล่าวศึกษาลักษณะทางธรณีวิทยาของแก่งแม่น้ำโขงในพื้นที่อำเภอเชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย ผ่านการบูรณาการข้อมูลด้านธรณีวิทยาภาคสนาม ศิลาวิทยา ธรณีเคมี ธรณีวิทยาโครงสร้าง และการแปลความหมายข้อมูลเชิงพื้นที่ เพื่ออธิบายกระบวนการกำเนิดและวิวัฒนาการของลักษณะภูมิประเทศบริเวณแก่งแม่น้ำโขง ตลอดจนเพิ่มความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างธรณีวิทยา โครงสร้างทางธรณี และกระบวนการกัดกร่อนที่ควบคุมการพัฒนาภูมิประเทศในพื้นที่เชียงคาน
The awarded research is titled “Geological Investigation of Mekong River Rapids in the Chiang Khan Area, Loei Province, Thailand” under the PSM: Physical Sciences and Mathematics research group. This study investigates the geological characteristics of the Mekong River rapids in Chiang Khan District, Loei Province, through the integration of field geology, petrology, geochemistry, structural geology, and spatial data interpretation. It aims to explain the genesis and evolution of landforms in the Mekong River rapids area, as well as to enhance the understanding of the relationship between geology, geological structures, and erosional processes controlling landscape development in the Chiang Khan area.
รางวัลดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงศักยภาพในการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้จากงานวิจัยทางธรณีวิทยาสู่การสื่อสารทางวิชาการอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และเป็นอีกหนึ่งผลงานที่แสดงถึงความเข้มแข็งด้านการวิจัยของสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีธรณี คณะเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านธรณีวิทยาของประเทศไทยและเชื่อมโยงสู่การใช้ประโยชน์ด้านทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ภูมิสัณฐาน และธรณีมรดก
This award reflects the potential in effectively transferring knowledge from geological research to academic communication. It also serves as another testament to the strong research capabilities of the Department of Geotechnology, Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, in advancing Thailand’s geological knowledge and connecting it to practical applications in natural resources, geomorphology, and geoheritage.
